The posting

Voor Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen zijn we op zoek naar kok of keukenmedewerkers Extra Smaak.

In onze WZC’s die werken volgens “extrasmaak” koken we per leefgroep van 20 bewoners in de leefruimte. Ingrediënten en receptuur worden aangeleverd en we koken elke dag tussen en met onze bewoners datgene wat zij lekker vinden. We hebben dus geen centrale grootkeuken.

Wij zoeken een collega die deze taak dagelijks opneemt en zorgt dat elk maaltijdmoment een fijne beleving is voor onze bewoners : lekker, rustig, gezellig en zoveel mogelijk op maat van elk individu. Wil onze bewoner een eitje ‘s morgens, dan vraagt onze collega of het een spiegelei of gekookt mag zijn. Heeft onze bewoner geen trek in datgene wat er op het menu staat dan vraagt onze collega waarmee hij/zij deze bewoner wel een plezier kan doen. Kortom, we zoeken iemand die er voldoening uithaalt om bewoners culinair te verwennen. Daarnaast zijn onze koks/hulpkoks de collega’s die binnen ons team de voortrekkersrol opnemen om andere collega’s die nog niet zo goed kunnen koken met raad en daad bij te staan opdat zij evenzeer lekker zouden kunnen koken voor hun bewoners. Niet alle afdelingskeukens zijn immers bestaft met hulpkoks. Tenslotte zijn onze koks/hulpkoks echte problem solvers : wat er ook gebeurt in de keukens, ze lossen het op.

We menen dat geschikte kandidaten over volgende eigenschappen moeten beschikken:

  • Grondige kennis van de Nederlandse taal : instructies kunnen lezen, maar ook uitleggen aan anderen. Andere collega’s die minder goed kunnen koken zien in onze hulpkoks steun en toeverlaat wanneer ze onzeker zijn bij de bereiding maar ook wanneer het fout loopt.
  • Eigenaarschap : verantwoordelijk voor hun keuken en hun bewoners. Materiaal verdwenen ? De kok/hulpkok zoekt. Geen ketchup meer ? De kok/hulpkok zorgt dat het aan niets ontbreekt. Keuken vuil na het weekend? De kok/hulpkok spreekt degene aan die onvoldoende heeft gepoetst.
  • De kok/hulpkok weet wat zijn/haar bewoners lekker vinden en speelt daarop in. Daarom moet hij/zij zeer goed weten hoe er in onze Vlaamse keukens gekookt wordt. Vol-au-vent, stoofvlees, witloof in kaassaus of worst met wortelstoemp en ajuinsaus zijn gekende gerechten.
