We make that happen, since 1992, by hand in our atelier in Zwaagdijk-Oost. From mattresses to seat and lounge cushions on board luxury yachts. Every piece of foam gets its own shape, and no day or commission is the same. And that is where we are looking for reinforcement. Do you have technical insight, enjoy working with your hands and work accurately? Then this is for you. For our production department we are looking for a foam cutter who cuts and shapes comfort foam to measure. What you will be doing You form an important link in our production process: you turn foam blocks and sheets into components that fit exactly. That means measuring and templating, both by hand and digitally with a 3D scanner at the customer's location, and working from drawings and templates. You will also: - Select the right type, quality and thickness of foam - Mark out, cut, saw and shape comfort foam - Operate and set up foam cutting machines and hand tools - Glue and assemble foam layers - Create curves, bevelled edges and other bespoke shapes - Check dimensions, shapes and quality - Identify deviations in drawings, materials or dimensions - Use material efficiently to keep cutting waste low - Carry out minor daily maintenance on machines and tools - Keep your workplace safe, clean and well organised - Deliver finished products to the customer - Coordinate with colleagues in work preparation, upholstery and mattress production Who fits in well here Someone with a practical attitude who works carefully and takes pride in a good result.
