Introductie

Voor een internationaal actieve organisatie binnen de voedingsindustrie zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Food Scientist. In deze functie neem je een sleutelrol op binnen productontwikkeling en innovatie en begeleid je nieuwe voedingsconcepten van eerste idee tot succesvolle marktintroductie.

Je combineert wetenschappelijke expertise met een pragmatische en hands-on aanpak. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met productie, kwaliteit, aankoop, supply chain, sales en marketing om nieuwe producten technisch haalbaar, schaalbaar en commercieel sterk te maken.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je leidt complexe productontwikkelingsprojecten van concept tot industrialisatie en commercialisatie.
  • Je ontwikkelt en optimaliseert recepturen, ingrediënten en productieprocessen met aandacht voor smaak, kwaliteit, kostprijs en schaalbaarheid.
  • Je identificeert technische risico's en ontwikkelt praktische oplossingen om projecten succesvol en binnen timing af te ronden.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing en Sales.
  • Je volgt nieuwe trends, ingrediënten en technologieën binnen de voedingsindustrie en vertaalt interessante opportuniteiten naar concrete innovaties.
  • Afhankelijk van jouw ervaring begeleid en coach je andere Food Scientists en draag je bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het R&D-team.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Food Science, Voedingstechnologie, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen productontwikkeling in de voedingsindustrie.
  • Ervaring met aardappelproducten, coatings of andere value-added foodproducten vormt een sterke troef.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van receptuurontwikkeling, ingrediënten, opschaling en industriële productieprocessen.
  • Je bent sterk in projectmanagement en kan verschillende ontwikkelingsprojecten gelijktijdig beheren.
  • Je combineert analytisch en probleemoplossend denken met een ondernemende en hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels en bent bereid om sporadisch internationaal te reizen.
