Medewerker bij het Penitentiair Psychiatrisch Centrum (PPC) van Justitieel Complex Zaanstad (JCZ) draag jij niet alleen bij aan de zorg en behandeling van gedetineerden met psychische of psychiatrische problemen, maar geef je ook richting aan jouw team. Jouw werk is een onmisbare schakel in een veiligere samenleving en een stabiele behandelomgeving. Binnen het PPC heb jij een veelzijdige rol. Je werkt niet alleen direct met gedetineerden, maar je ondersteunt ook je collega's en tilt de afdeling naar een hoger niveau. Geen dag is hetzelfde, maar jouw focus op kwaliteit, veiligheid en samenwerking blijft altijd centraal staan. - Begeleiding en behandeling bieden aan gedetineerde patiënten Jij begeleidt en behandelt gedetineerden met uiteenlopende psychiatrische problemen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan het ondersteunen van een patiënt in crisis of het aanreiken van structuur voor iemand die moeite heeft met de dagindeling; - Mentor zijn en rapporteren binnen een multidisciplinair team Als mentor ben je een aanspreekpunt voor patiënten en zorg je voor duidelijke verslaglegging. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer je observaties deelt die essentieel zijn voor de diagnose en behandeling; - Collega's coachen en inwerken Nieuwe collega's wegwijs maken in de complexe setting van het PPC is een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw rol. Dit doe je bijvoorbeeld door hen te begeleiden tijdens de eerste weken en praktijkvoorbeelden te delen vanuit jouw expertise; - Afdeling overstijgende taken oppakken Of het nu gaat om het verbeteren van werkprocessen of het coördineren van nieuwe projecten, jij speelt een proactieve rol in het optimaliseren van de afdeling; - De-escalerend handelen en conflicten beheersen Bij spanningen weet jij de situatie met rust en overzicht te de-escaleren.
