Jobomschrijving

Ben jij sterk in organiseren, hou je van internationale logistiek en haal je voldoening uit tevreden klanten? Dan is deze functie als expediteur zeevracht binnen een Control Tower misschien wel iets voor jou!

Je coördineert internationale zeevrachtzendingen van A tot Z voor een strategische klant en zorgt ervoor dat elk transport vlot en volgens afspraak verloopt. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met interne teams, transportpartners en douane-expediteurs. Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor de klant en draagt met jouw nauwkeurige opvolging bij aan een betrouwbare dienstverlening.

Als expediteur zeevracht combineer je planning, administratie en klantencontact. Je volgt transporten actief op, grijpt in wanneer er iets misloopt en denkt mee over hoe processen en service verder kunnen verbeteren.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Je verwerkt transportopdrachten in het systeem en zorgt ervoor dat alle zendingen correct en tijdig worden geregistreerd.
  • Je coördineert internationale zeevrachtzendingen en stemt af met interne teams, transporteurs en douanepartners.
  • Je bereidt transport- en douanedocumenten voor en controleert of alles voldoet aan de geldende voorschriften en interne richtlijnen.
  • Je volgt zendingen op, lost problemen proactief op, informeert klanten en zoekt naar verbeteringen in de dienstverlening.

Werk je nauwkeurig, denk je graag in oplossingen en krijg je energie van klantencontact en internationale transporten? Dan beschik je mogelijk over het profiel dat we zoeken!

  • Je hebt ervaring in expeditie, bij voorkeur binnen de zeevracht.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Engels. Kennis van het Nederlands is een sterke troef.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en respecteert deadlines, ook in een dynamische werkomgeving.
  • Je bent proactief, klantgericht en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je bent leergierig en wil jezelf verder ontwikkelen binnen de internationale logistiek.
