Deze onderneming produceert een hoogwaardig pigment dat wereldwijd wordt gebruikt in verf, kunststoffen, papier en textiel, een onzichtbare kracht achter talloze alledaagse producten. Op de productiesite in regio Gent, aan de rand van de zeehaven, wordt jaarlijks meer dan 100.000 ton van dit basismateriaal gemaakt. Een indrukwekkend technisch proces waarin precisie, onderhoud en vakmanschap de sleutel vormen.

Met een team van ruim 300 collega’s, waarvan een groot deel actief is binnen onderhoud, werk je in een omgeving waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamwork centraal staan. Het bedrijf investeert bewust in interne expertise, het grootste deel van het onderhoud wordt zelf uitgevoerd. Zo krijg jij de kans om te werken aan hoogtechnologische installaties, waar jouw lasvaardigheid en technische inzicht écht impact hebben.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je voert alle las- en pipingwerken uit die nodig zijn om de installaties veilig en operationeel te houden
  • Je doet (foto)laswerk in staal en roestvast staal, afgewisseld met complexere materialen zoals aluminium
  • Opmeten van leidingen, voorbereiden van de to do's met slijpwerk en je maakt de nodige schetsen en plannen
  • Tijdens geplande onderhoudsstops of onverwachte stilstanden voer je herstellingen en vervangingen uit aan pompen, ventilatoren en leidingwerk
  • In de werkplaats neem je kleinere herstellingen en nauwkeurige lasopdrachten voor je rekening
  • Bij noodsituaties sta je paraat als lid van het interventieteam, klaar om snel en efficiënt in te grijpen
  • Je hebt een technisch diploma binnen een technische richting en combineert kennis met een stevige dosis praktijkervaring
  • Lassen van constructies en piping is helemaal jouw ding, je beheerst het vak tot in de puntjes, inclusief fotolassen
  • Met je sterke veiligheidsgevoel en hands-on aanpak los je technische problemen snel en zelfstandig op
  • Zéér sterke Nederlandse kennis omwille van veiligheid & communicatie
