The posting

Voor een internationale technische speler zijn we op zoek naar een Sales Engineer / Account Manager voor de regio Wallonië, Brussel en Luxemburg.

Je krijgt een bestaande klantenportefeuille in handen, maar krijgt tegelijk alle ruimte om nieuwe opportuniteiten te creëren. Je bent het commerciële aanspreekpunt voor klanten en prospecten en weet technische noden te vertalen naar concrete oplossingen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je beheert en ontwikkelt een bestaande klantenportefeuille.
  • Je gaat actief op zoek naar nieuwe klanten en commerciële opportuniteiten.
  • Je bezoekt klanten en prospecten in Wallonië, Brussel en Luxemburg.
  • Je brengt de technische behoeften van klanten in kaart en adviseert hen over de juiste oplossingen.
  • Je volgt projecten commercieel op, van eerste behoefte tot bestelling.
  • Je werkt offertes uit en verdedigt deze samen met de interne teams.
  • Je bouwt aan langdurige klantenrelaties en partnerships.
  • Je volgt de markt en nieuwe projecten op.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Inside Sales, technische collega's en het commerciële team.

Een combinatie van hunter en farmer dus: bestaande klanten verder uitbouwen én nieuwe business binnenhalen.

Wie ben jij?

We zoeken iemand die zich zowel in een technische als commerciële omgeving goed voelt.

  • Je hebt een technische bachelor of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een technische B2B-omgeving.
  • Je hebt ervaring in externe sales, accountmanagement, business development of technische projectverkoop.
  • Ervaring met afsluiters, industriële appendages, pompen, piping of procesinstallaties is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je spreekt uitstekend Frans en hebt een goede praktische kennis van Engels.
  • Je bent commercieel ingesteld, maar begrijpt ook graag het technische verhaal achter een product.
  • Je bent zelfstandig, proactief en resultaatgericht.
  • Je kan opportuniteiten herkennen en omzetten in concrete projecten.
  • Je bent sterk in communicatie en onderhandelen.
