Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing organisation operating within a highly technical and project-driven production environment.
Jobomschrijving
- Assess the manufacturability and technical feasibility of customer-approved designs, identifying risks, constraints, and optimisation opportunities.
- Create and maintain production documentation including technical drawings, CAD models, work instructions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ERP master data.
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Optimise designs, materials, and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure technical alignment and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, technical design, or a similar production-focused role.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and experience managing BOMs, routings, and technical master data in ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, or similar).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability principles, technical problem solving, and cost estimation within an industrial environment.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Fluent in English and Dutch
