Voor een sterke technische projectorganisatie in West-Vlaanderen zoeken we een Freelance Mechanical Project Leader voor uitdagende projecten binnen machinebouw en klantspecifiek maatwerk.

Je neemt mechanische projecten zelfstandig in handen van concept tot oplevering en combineert technische diepgang met projectownership. Je vormt de centrale schakel tussen klant, engineering, productie, montage en externe partners.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je neemt mechanische machinebouwprojecten van A tot Z in handen.
  • Je analyseert technische klantvragen en vertaalt deze naar een haalbare en maakbare oplossing.
  • Je denkt mee over machineconcepten, constructies, lay-outs en technische keuzes.
  • Je coördineert engineers en designers en bewaakt de voortgang van de engineering.
  • Je blijft technisch betrokken bij 3D-ontwerp, layouts en technische detailbesprekingen.
  • Je bewaakt planning, budget, kwaliteit en technische haalbaarheid.
  • Je volgt productie, assemblage en montage op en stuurt bij waar nodig.
  • Je coördineert leveranciers en externe technische partners.
  • Je ondersteunt waar nodig bij de technische uitwerking van offertes en projectvoorstellen.
  • Je bewaakt de balans tussen kwaliteit, kostprijs, timing en maakbaarheid.
  • Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor klant en interne technische teams tot en met de finale oplevering.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je werkt op zelfstandige/freelance basis.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring binnen machinebouw, mechanical engineering of technische projectleiding.
  • Je hebt ervaring als bijvoorbeeld Mechanical Project Engineer, Project Leader, Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer of Project Manager Machinebouw.
  • Je beschikt over een sterke mechanische basis en begrijpt hoe machines en constructies technisch opgebouwd worden.
  • Je kunt zelfstandig projecten organiseren en technische beslissingen nemen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met een 3D-CAD-pakket. Kennis van Creo is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je communiceert vlot met klanten, engineers, productie en leveranciers.
  • Je bent sterk in planning en behoudt overzicht over meerdere technische stakeholders.
  • Je hebt voldoende commerciële feeling om ook budget, haalbaarheid en klantverwachtingen mee te bewaken.
  • Je bent snel inzetbaar en voelt je comfortabel met een hoge mate van autonomie.
