The posting

Onze klant bouwt een centraal cloudplatform waarop verschillende digitale diensten en toepassingen draaien. Dit Kubernetes-platform op Microsoft Azure helpt developmentteams om applicaties veilig, schaalbaar en zelfstandig uit te rollen.

Het platformteam bestaat uit een achttal ervaren engineers en focust de komende jaren op verdere automatisatie, standaardisatie, self-service, security en betrouwbaarheid.

Functieomschrijving Als Senior Platform Engineer bouw je mee aan de fundamenten en automatisatie van het cloudplatform. Je ontwikkelt geen eindgebruikerstoepassingen, maar programmeert en beheert de infrastructuur waarop andere teams werken.

  • Beheren en uitbreiden van Kubernetes-clusters binnen Microsoft Azure.
  • Automatiseren van infrastructuur met Python, Pulumi en Terraform.
  • Uitbouwen van GitOps, CI/CD en self-service met ArgoCD, Helm en policies.
  • Verbeteren van observability, security, secrets management en platformbetrouwbaarheid.
  • Ondersteunen, coachen en begeleiden van engineers binnen een Agile- en DevOps-omgeving.

Je bent een ervaren Platform Engineer die infrastructuur als code behandelt en zowel sterk is in softwareontwikkeling als cloud- en platformbeheer.

  • Minstens vijf jaar ervaring met het opzetten en beheren van Kubernetes-clusters, zoals AKS, OpenShift of EKS.
  • Minstens drie jaar ervaring met Azure, Infrastructure as Code en Python voor infrastructuurautomatisatie.
  • Ervaring met CI/CD, GitOps, ArgoCD of Flux en het schrijven en beheren van Helm charts.
  • Kennis van observability en platformcomponenten zoals Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Vault, Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL of Keycloak.
  • Nederlandstalig op C2-niveau en ervaring binnen een omgeving met verhoogde security- en privacyvereisten.
