Als freesmachinist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bedienen van een krachtige asfaltfrees op diverse locaties in Nederland. Je zorgt voor het nauwkeurig uitvoeren van freeswerkzaamheden, waarbij je zelfstandig of samen met een team werkt. Je controleert en stelt de machine vooraf goed af, bespreekt de werkzaamheden met collega's en zorgt voor een veilige en efficiënte uitvoering. Tijdens het werk houd je rekening met de juiste freesdiepte, de werkomstandigheden en de veiligheid van iedereen op het terrein. Na afloop reinig, controleer en onderhoud je de freesmachine. Daarnaast voer je kleine reparaties uit en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vervoeren van de machine met een vrachtauto en dieplader. Je werkt in onregelmatige diensten, zowel overdag als 's nachts, en staat stand-by voor calamiteiten.
