DAPPER. is een gastronomisch restaurant in de Planet Group arena in Gent. We werken met een compact team en leggen veel nadruk op persoonlijke gastvrijheid, productkennis en een verzorgde totaalbeleving.

Om ons zaalteam verder te versterken, zoeken we een Front of House / Sommelier.

JOUW ROL

Je slaat de handen in elkaar met onze maitre en combineert service en gastvrijheid met wijn. Je bent dus niet uitsluitend sommelier, maar draait volwaardig mee in de zaal en neemt tegelijk mee verantwoordelijkheid voor onze wijnbeleving.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • het ontvangen en begeleiden van onze gasten;
  • een persoonlijke, verzorgde en professionele service;
  • het adviseren van gasten bij hun wijnkeuze;
  • het schenken en toelichten van wijnen en wijnpairings;
  • mee instaan voor de mise-en-place en voorbereiding van de zaal;
  • actief meedraaien tijdens lunch- en dinerservices;
  • mee bewaken van het serviceniveau en de algemene gastbeleving;
  • het correct onderhouden en opvolgen van de wijnvoorraad;
  • ondersteunen bij de verdere uitbouw van onze wijnkaart;
  • meedenken over wijnpairings bij nieuwe menu's;
  • bestellingen plaatsen, tekorten opvolgen;
  • personeelsplanningen
  • ondersteuning tijdens private dining, events en hospitalitymomenten.

Bij DAPPER. zien we wijn niet los van service. Je kent je wijnen, maar voelt evengoed aan wanneer een gast uitleg wil, wanneer je beter wat afstand houdt en hoe je van een goede service een memorabele ervaring maakt.

OVER DAPPER.

DAPPER. opende in september 2025 in de Planet Group arena in Gent.

Onze keuken is eigentijds gastronomisch, productgericht en technisch verfijnd. Diezelfde aandacht voor kwaliteit willen we ook in de zaal doortrekken: persoonlijke service, sterke productkennis en gastvrijheid zonder stijfheid.

Naast onze reguliere restaurantservices verzorgen we ook private dining, events en hospitality tijdens wedstrijden van KAA Gent.

WIE ZOEKEN WE?

We zoeken iemand met een sterke interesse in wijn én hospitality.

Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring binnen een gastronomisch restaurant, fine dining of een vergelijkbare hospitalityomgeving.

Daarnaast:

  • heb je een warme en natuurlijke omgang met gasten;
  • beschik je over een goede basiskennis van wijn en wil je die verder ontwikkelen;
  • werk je verzorgd, nauwkeurig en georganiseerd;
  • heb je oog voor detail;
  • voel je je comfortabel in een gastronomische service;
  • kan je zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid opnemen;
  • blijf je rustig en professioneel tijdens drukke services;
  • ben je flexibel en een echte teamspeler.

Een sommelieropleiding of WSET-opleiding is een sterke troef, maar motivatie, persoonlijkheid en potentieel zijn voor ons minstens even belangrijk.
