Bij Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent bieden we meer dan alleen een hotelverblijf. Ons hotel is ontworpen voor langere verblijven en is een echte home away from home, waar comfort, persoonlijke service en flexibiliteit centraal staan.

Als Front Office Receptionist met F&B-verantwoordelijkheden sta je in het hart van de gastbeleving. Jij bent het eerste warme welkom, het aanspreekpunt tijdens het volledige verblijf en een zichtbare aanwezigheid binnen zowel Front Office als Food & Beverage. Je houdt van afwisseling, gastencontact en een dynamische hotelomgeving waarin geen enkele dag hetzelfde is.

Een dag in jouw rol

In deze polyvalente functie combineer je Front Office-taken met occasionele ondersteuning van het Food & Beverage-team. Zo draag je dagelijks bij aan een vlotte werking en een warme, professionele servicebeleving voor onze gasten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

Front Office

  • Je verwelkomt gasten hartelijk en verzorgt een vlot check-in en check-out proces volgens de kwaliteitsstandaarden van Marriott.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor vragen, verzoeken en feedback van gasten en handelt deze professioneel, oplossingsgericht en proactief af.
  • Je beheert reservaties, kamerindelingen en gastprofielen in het property management system Opera.
  • Je stimuleert de gastbeleving en omzet door actief alle hotelfaciliteiten en -diensten te promoten.

Food & Beverage

  • Je ondersteunt waar nodig bij het ontbijt en de barservice en zorgt voor een vlotte totaalervaring voor onze gasten.
  • Je serveert eten en dranken op een vriendelijke en professionele manier, in lijn met de hospitality-standaarden van Marriott.
  • Je waakt over een nette, uitnodigende en goed georganiseerde F&B-omgeving.
  • Je springt bij tijdens piekmomenten en events om een hoog serviceniveau te garanderen.

Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent is het eerste Residence Inn-hotel in België en maakt deel uit van een sterke hospitalitygroep in Gent, samen met Ghent Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Ghent en Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent.

Je bent gastgericht, flexibel en voelt je thuis in een dynamische hotelomgeving waar servicekwaliteit en aanpassingsvermogen hand in hand gaan. Je neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid en draagt actief bij aan zowel Front Office als F&B-activiteiten.

Je brengt mee:

  • Relevante ervaring in Front Office, hospitality of een klantgerichte functie (hotelervaring is een sterke troef).
  • Een oprechte passie voor gastvrijheid en het creëren van een warme, persoonlijke gastbeleving.
  • Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en het vermogen om zelfstandig om te gaan met vragen, klachten en onverwachte situaties.
  • Flexibiliteit om Front Office- en Food & Beverage-taken te combineren volgens operationele noden.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Engels; kennis van Nederlands is een grote plus.
  • Een professionele en rustige houding, ook tijdens drukke momenten.
  • Een hands-on mentaliteit met oog voor detail.
  • Zelfstandigheid gecombineerd met teamspirit.
  • Bereidheid om in flexibele shiften en weekends te werken.
