Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Functional Analyst (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Antwerpen.
Our client is a fast-growing company active in the automotive sector.
As Functional Analyst (m/f/x) you will be responsible for
- You gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements together with business stakeholders.
- You translate business needs into clear technical documentation, including objectives, scope, assumptions, and specifications.
- You help shape solution design and propose IT solutions aligned with business ideas and priorities.
- You contribute to the product backlog in close collaboration with business counterparts and domain leadership.
- You define testing requirements with key stakeholders and support quality assurance by validating functional logic.
- You contribute to project delivery through status follow-up, reporting, and regular updates to key leads.
- You participate in product quality reviews and suggest improvements to enhance applications and services.
- you stay close to business operations, identify issues and opportunities, and act as a link between business and technical teams.
- You support investigations by using relevant data sources and application knowledge while serving as a subject matter expert for your project.
- you work effectively across changing topics, stakeholders, and priorities in a dynamic environment.
The required profile for the Functional Analyst (m/f/x) position:
- you hold a Master's degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- you bring solid knowledge from a technical, scientific, or specialised field.
- you work independently, accurately, and effectively on complex tasks while managing priorities well.
- you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can assess options to recommend suitable solutions.
- You communicate clearly and confidently with both business and IT stakeholders.
- You have experience writing structured documentation, and experience with testing or quality support is a plus.
- You have basic knowledge of Agile delivery, Software Development Life Cycle, and Domain-Driven Design.
- You bring an open mindset, value diversity, and work well across different cultures and teams.
- You are proactive, motivated, approachable, and respectful in the way you support colleagues and move work forward.
- you ideally hold an ECBA certification, which is considered a strong asset.
- You have a good understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, and Domain-Driven Design, and you thrive in a collaborative and multicultural environment.
