The posting

Als Technisch Coördinator Garage ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse organisatie en opvolging van de werkzaamheden in onze werkplaats. Je stuurt een team van ongeveer 15 mecaniciens aan, bewaakt de kwaliteit van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en zorgt ervoor dat de activiteiten veilig, efficiënt en volgens planning verlopen.

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:

Operationele coördinatie

  • De dagelijkse werking van de werkplaats organiseren, plannen en opvolgen;
  • De werkzaamheden verdelen op basis van de beschikbare capaciteit en operationele prioriteiten;
  • Toezien op de kwaliteit van onderhouds- en herstellingswerken;
  • Zorgen voor een optimale inzet van medewerkers, materialen en middelen;
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden aan mecaniciens wanneer nodig;
  • Waken over de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften, kwaliteitsnormen en interne procedures.

Teammanagement

  • Een team van ongeveer 15 mecaniciens aansturen, begeleiden en motiveren;
  • De samenwerking binnen het team stimuleren en zorgen voor een positieve werksfeer;
  • De ontwikkeling van medewerkers ondersteunen en bijdragen aan de verdere uitbouw van hun technische competenties.

Samenwerking & administratie

  • Nauw samenwerken met de Garage Manager, de planningsdienst en andere interne afdelingen om een vlotte werking van de werkplaats te garanderen;
  • Instaan voor de administratieve opvolging van werkorders, rapporten en registraties van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden;
  • Bijdragen aan de continue verbetering van de organisatie en de processen binnen de werkplaats.
  • Je hebt ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen een technische omgeving of beschikt over de maturiteit om een team succesvol aan te sturen;
  • Je hebt een sterke technische achtergrond in het onderhoud en de herstelling van bedrijfsvoertuigen;
  • Ervaring met het onderhoud en de herstelling van opleggers en laadkleppen is een belangrijke troef;
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, besluitvaardig en stressbestendig;
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en weet medewerkers te motiveren en te begeleiden;
  • Je bent administratief nauwkeurig en vlot met digitale tools;
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands uitstekend en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
