Voorbeelden van reeds bestaande initiatieven zijn onder meer: - De 'Senioren Soos Rendez- Vous', die maandelijks op de zondagmiddag veelsoortige activiteiten organiseert. - 'Lekker Anders', waarbij door vrijwilligers bijzondere maaltijden worden bereid. Deze maaltijden worden samengesteld door gastkoks, die dankzij hun herkomst uit andere culturen, de bezoekers verrassen met heerlijke, authentieke gerechten. - Het Filmhuis, waarbij maandelijks een aansprekende film vertoond zal worden. Ook wordt de mogelijkheid bezien om kinderfilms te gaan vertonen. Binnen de organisatie zit voldoende creativiteit om meer activiteiten te ontwikkelen en het Dorpscentrum nog meer dé ontmoetingsplaats van Oegstgeest te maken dan het nu al is. ( www.dorpscentrumoegstgeest.nl Welke activiteiten voeren deze vrijwilligers dan uit? Dat zijn er nogal wat: - Optreden als gastheer/-vrouw. - Koffie en thee zetten en de bar bezetten. - Bieden van een luisterend oor. - Gezellig en opgeruimd houden van de ruimtes en scheppen van sfeer. - Bijhouden van de voorraden en nieuwe voorraad inslaan. - Onderhouden gebouw/ gebruikersruimte en tuin. - Onderhouden van de contacten met de diverse gebruikers. - Afstemmen van de wensen van de gebruikers. - Voeren van de administratie. - Bijhouden van de 'social media' en niet te vergeten, - Zijn van ambassadeur van en voor het Dorpscentrum Het Dorpscentrum is altijd op zoek naar nieuwe enthousiaste vrijwilligers.
