Gedragswetenschapper Jeugdbeschermers, jeugdreclasseerders en pleegzorgwerkers kunnen rekenen op jouw expertise en ondersteuning. Samen bespreek je de casuïstiek, duid je de veiligheid en breng je overzicht in de beschikbare informatie. Je helpt hen bij het nemen van beslissingen en het maken van plannen die bijdragen aan de veiligheid en ontwikkeling van het kind, zodat zij met vertrouwen verder kunnen. Vakinhoudelijk ondersteuning en versterking van teams Als gedragswetenschapper werk je nauw samen met collega's in de jeugdbescherming, jeugdreclassering en pleegzorg. Zij begeleiden dagelijks kinderen, jongeren en ouders met vaak complexe problematiek, zoals scheiding, ontwikkelingsproblemen of een gezinslid met een LVB. Jij ondersteunt hen door samen te bepalen wat nodig is voor het kind, het gezin én het team. Er is geen standaardaanpak: elke situatie vraagt om zorgvuldig afwegen, verdiepen en meedenken. Een belangrijk deel van je werk ligt in de samenwerking met Gebiedsmanagers en het team. Samen breng je in beeld waar het team staat, wat goed gaat en waar ontwikkeling nodig is. Je signaleert hiaten in kennis en vaardigheden, vertaalt deze naar aandachtspunten en draagt bij aan het versterken van de professionele basis. Dit doe je op casus-, team- en ketenniveau. Waar nodig sluit je aan bij gezinnen, zittingen en gesprekken in de keten, en soms voer je ook zelf gesprekken met kinderen om hun veiligheid beter te kunnen beoordelen. Soms vraagt je rol om te vertragen, rust te brengen en de lijn vast te houden; op andere momenten schakel je snel en werk je samen aan oplossingen in crisissituaties. Deze afwisseling tussen langdurige betrokkenheid, gestructureerd werken en ad hoc handelen maakt het werk dynamisch en uitdagend. Daarnaast draag je bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de organisatie en de versterking van de rol van gedragswetenschappers, evenals het verdiepen en delen van vakinhoudelijke kennis en expertise.
