Als geestelijk verzorger ligt jouw focus op professionele begeleiding en advisering voor de Eenheid Midden-Nederland. Wat ga je doen? Je begeleidt en ondersteunt politiemensen bij zingevings-, morele-, of existentiële vragen die opkomen in en door het politiewerk. Bij schokkende gebeurtenissen, calamiteiten, verlies of rouw biedt je opvang en begeleiding. Dit doe je op aanvraag, via verwijzing of op eigen initiatief, en zowel individueel als in groepsverband. In gezamenlijkheid ontwikkel je voorlichting en trainingen voor politiemensen, onder andere op het gebied van morele vorming, die je vervolgens in jouw eigen eenheid geeft. Daardoor bevorder je de aandacht voor zingeving en ethiek in relatie tot het politievak. Gevraagd en ongevraagd geef je advies op het gebied van zorg, zingeving, ethiek en levensbeschouwing. Je verzorgt in voorkomende gevallen een ritueel en organiseert bezinnings- en herdenkingsbijeenkomsten. Je bent het gezicht van Geestelijke Verzorging. Je bent zoveel als mogelijk zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer en jouw expertise is toegankelijk voor alle politiemensen in alle lagen van de organisatie. Waar ga je werken? Het Team Veilig en Gezond Werken (VGW) richt zich op het behouden en bevorderen van de duurzame inzetbaarheid en weerbaarheid van medewerkers en daarmee het voorkomen van uitval. Iedere regio heeft vanuit het Politiedienstencentrum een eigen Team Veilig en Gezond Werken, dat naast de geestelijk verzorger bestaat uit arbeidsdeskundigen, eenheidspsychologen, bedrijfsmaatschappelijk werkers, bedrijfsartsen, de zorgregisseur, specialist arbeidsomstandigheden, specialist bedrijfshulpverlening, procescoördinator zorg, vitaalcoaches en dokte...
