Dit ga je doen Als algemeen directeur/gemeentesecretaris van Heerlen werk je in een stad die zich de afgelopen jaren indrukwekkend heeft ontwikkeld. Heerlen bruist. De stad investeert in wonen, centrumontwikkeling, cultuur, onderwijs, innovatie en leefbaarheid. De ambities zijn groot, het tempo ligt hoog en de bestuurlijke en maatschappelijke dynamiek is stevig. In die context ben jij van grote waarde: je verbindt bestuur en organisatie, brengt rust en richting en vertaalt ambitie naar realistische, gedragen uitvoering. Als eerste adviseur van het college ben je een strategisch sparringpartner en kritische vriend. Je helpt het college prioriteiten te stellen, tempo en haalbaarheid scherp af te wegen en het lange termijnperspectief vast te houden. Je bent loyaal in de samenwerking en stevig in je advisering. Je maakt uitvoerbaarheid, risico's en consequenties scherp inzichtelijk. Samen met de burgemeester en de griffier zorg je voor een sterke driehoek, met heldere rolverdeling, vertrouwen en professioneel samenspel. Ook richting de gemeenteraad ben je zichtbaar en betrouwbaar. Binnen de organisatie ben je eindverantwoordelijk en geef je leiding aan een directieteam in ontwikkeling. Je bouwt verder aan een professionele, hechte en eenduidig opererende directie. Je zet de ingezette lijn van organisatieontwikkeling door: meer samenhang, sterker projectmatig en programm...
