dynamische team in de residentiële werking Behandelend Werken, waar we jongeren van

10 tot 18 jaar verwelkomen die psychische uitdagingen ervaren en daardoor moeite

hebben in verschillende sociale contexten.

De functie in een notendop

  • Samen met collega’s creëer je een warme leefomgeving. Hierbij heb je oog voor het emotioneel welbevinden van iedere jongere.
  • Je ondersteunt het dagelijkse leven in groep, waarbij je op een fijne en positieve manier zorgt voor de nodige structuur en routine.
  • Je ondersteunt de jongeren in hun zoektocht naar de expressie van wat hen het meest eigen is. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld door het organiseren van een atelier of groepsactiviteit op basis van een eigen passie (verf, klei, muziek, hout, fietsen, moestuin,...).
  • Naast het leefgroepwerk ben je verantwoordelijk voor de individuele begeleiding van 1 à 2 jongeren. Je onderhoudt contacten met de bredere context en hebt oog voor hun groeikansen en ontwikkelingstrajecten. Dit met als doel het bereiken van de doelstellingen van hun handelingsplan.
  • Op interne en externe overlegmomenten heb je een actieve en constructieve inbreng.
  • Je vervult enkele administratieve taken zoals digitale verslaggeving, rapportage en dossierregistratie. De uitwisseling en verstrekking van informatie over individuele dossiers gebeurt op een professionele wijze.
  • Samen met je teamgenoten werk je in een volcontinu systeem.

  • slaagt erin om op verschillende manieren in relatie te treden, afhankelijk van de specifieke noden van elke jongere.
  • is steeds op zoek naar betekenis van situaties en gedrag en kan het eigen handelen hierop afstemmen.
  • ziet afstemmen met collega’s als een evidentie om goed te kunnen (samen)werken én om te groeien in de job.
  • wordt niet afgeschrikt van avond-, nacht- en weekendwerk.

Opleiding en kennis

  • Diploma’s met een streepje voor: - Bachelor/master in een menswetenschappelijke richting - Volwassenonderwijs jeugd en gehandicaptenzorg
  • Ook zonder het vereiste diploma kan je in aanmerking komen voor deze functie
  • Enige kennis van de institutionele psychotherapie/pedagogie (praktijk-met-meerderen, 3e punt,…), de SEO en traumasensitief werken strekt tot aanbeveling.
  • Nieuwe Autoriteit/Geweldloos verzet zit je in de vingers
  • Ervaring met en kennis van doelgroep/pathologie is een pluspunt
