The posting

Als General Accountant verzorg je de dagelijkse boekhouding van vier Belgische entiteiten binnen een internationale organisatie in de maritieme dienstverlening. Je verwerkt leveranciersfacturen, beheert het grootboek en bereidt btw-aangiften en afsluitingen voor.

Je werkt in een klein Finance team in Antwerpen en hebt dagelijks contact met operationele collega’s. Daarnaast stem je af met Controllers in Nederland. Je krijgt de ruimte om je werk zelfstandig te organiseren en financiële processen te verbeteren.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Verwerken en controleren van aankoopfacturen en leveranciersgegevens.
  • Beheren van het grootboek, met uitzondering van verkoop- en loonboekingen.
  • Voorbereiden van betalingen.
  • Opvolgen van openstaande en afwijkende posten.
  • Opstellen van Belgische btw-aangiften en andere relevante aangiften.
  • Voorbereiden van de Belgische jaarrekeningen.
  • Ondersteunen bij de maandafsluiting met rekeningafstemmingen, correcties en balanscontroles.
  • Onderzoeken en oplossen van boekhoudkundige afwijkingen.
  • Afstemmen met operationele collega’s over facturen, kosten en goedkeuringen.
  • Meewerken aan verbeteringen in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Helpen om factuurverwerking en afsluitingsprocessen efficiënter te maken.
  • Je hebt ongeveer drie jaar of meer relevante ervaring in accounting, finance of een accountantskantoor.
  • Je kent de Belgische boekhoudregels en btw-verplichtingen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met grootboekboekhouding en btw-aangiften.
  • Ervaring met de voorbereiding van jaarrekeningen is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt graag met financiële systemen en hebt interesse in automatisering.
  • Een opleiding in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit, Finance of een vergelijkbare richting is een pluspunt.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft goed Nederlands en Engels.
  • Ervaring met Business Central, in een accountantskantoor of in de maritieme sector is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, stelt prioriteiten en overlegt vlot met financiële en operationele collega’s.
