The posting

De forensisch adviseur speelt een strategische rol binnen de cold case-werking. In een eerste fase ligt de nadruk op de ontwikkeling en implementatie van een oplosbaarheidsmatrix die dient om de slaagkansen van cold case-onderzoeken op een objectieve en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde wijze in te schatten. Daartoe wordt samengewerkt met magistraten, gerechtelijke experten en academische partners en wordt bijgedragen aan de ontwikkeling van methodieken en evaluatiecriteria die een efficiënte prioritering van dossiers mogelijk maken.

Secundair biedt de forensisch adviseur forensische ondersteuning aan individuele dossiers en adviseert hij of zij over een optimale onderzoeksstrategie.

De kandidaten moeten op de uiterste inschrijvingsdatum (05/10/2026) ten minste houder zijn van:

OFWEL

één van de volgende diploma’s: Universitair onderwijs of hoger onderwijs van het lange type (2e cyclus: master, licentiaat, industrieel ingenieur, ingenieur), na minstens vier jaar studie in één van de volgende domeinen:

  • forensische wetenschappen
  • chemie
  • biologie
  • biochemie
  • fysica
  • biomedische wetenschappen

OFWEL

een diploma van universitair onderwijs of hoger onderwijs van het lange type (2e cyclus: master, licentiaat, ingenieur of industrieel ingenieur) – na minstens vier jaar studie, aangevuld met minstens vijf jaar relevante professionele ervaring in één van de wetenschappelijke domeinen die aansluiten bij de expertisegebieden van het NICC binnen de OD Criminalistiek –

uitgereikt door een Belgische universiteit of door één van de instellingen die ermee gelijkgesteld zijn krachtens de wetten op het toekennen van academische graden en het programma van de universitaire examens of door één van de examencommissies die voor het toekennen van de academische graden door de Regering zijn ingesteld.

Je kan eveneens deelnemen indien je je diploma vroeger behaalde onder een andere benaming, die gelijkgesteld wordt met één van de vermelde diploma’s.

Je kan deelnemen onder voorbehoud indien je

  • je diploma hebt behaald in een ander land dan België. Heb je nog geen gelijkwaardigheidsattest van je diploma? Vraag het meteen op (relatief lange procedure) bij de Vlaamse Overheid (02/553.98.19). De indienstnemingsprocedure kan pas worden gestart nadat het gelijkwaardigheidsattest van het diploma is ontvangen. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de kandidaat om de nodige stappen te ondernemen om deze gelijkwaardigheid binnen de vereiste termijnen te verkrijgen;
  • je diploma hebt behaald in een andere taal dan het Nederlands: afhankelijk van jouw situatie moet je een taalcertificaat behalen bij Homepage | Werkenvoor.be om je kennis van het Nederlands te bewijzen.

Een kopie van het diploma dient overhandigd te worden samen met de kandidatuur.

Een recent uittreksel uit het strafregister dient eveneens afgeleverd te worden.
