Als innovatief, modern én dynamisch regionaal ziekenhuis gaan wij op zoek naar een arts specialist in de geriatrie om samen met onze huidige ploeg van 4 geriaters de dienst verder uit te bouwen en te versterken.

Kenmerken van onze dienst geriatrie:

- Wij bieden het volledig geriatrisch zorgprogramma aan: een geriatrische hospitalisatie-afdeling met 72 erkende bedden, een dagziekenhuis geriatrie en een liaison functie geriatrie. Daarnaast zetten we ook in op externe liaison met focus op een betere samenwerking met de WZC. - Fracture liaison service, in samenwerking met dienst Reumatologie en Endocrinologie. Een osteoporoseraadpleging in campus Zele staat op de planning. - Patiëntgerichte samenwerking op de afdeling met de diensten Orthopedie (Ortho-geriatrie). - We zijn een erkend opleidingscentrum voor HAIO's, coassistenten en specialisten in opleiding voor inwendige ziekten.

De collega die we zoeken is een deskundige teamplayer met ambitie om onze dienst verder uit te bouwen en hoogstaande kwalitatieve zorg aan te bieden. Door jouw heldere en transparante manier van communiceren, plaats je de patiënt centraal en loopt multidisciplinaire samenwerking op rolletjes.

Ook belangrijk:

- Je bent erkend arts-specialist in de geriatrie of een arts-assistent geriatrie in de laatste fase van de opleiding.
