Je werkt op het snijvlak van ICT, geo-informatie en innovatieve technologie, zoals drones en sensoren. Je komt te werken binnen het Instructiepeloton Verdere Vorming van de Mineur- en Sappeurschool van het Opleidings- en Trainingscentrum (OTC Genie) in Vught. Het zwaartepunt van je werkzaamheden ligt bij de Instructiegroep Genie Inlichtingen en Verkenningen (GIV). Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de verdere ontwikkeling van ICT-systemen, GIS-toepassingen en de bijbehorende terreindatabase. Je onderzoekt technische problemen, zoekt naar oplossingen en adviseert over de aanschaf, inrichting en toepassing van ICT- en GIS-middelen. Je denkt actief mee over nieuwe ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden om technologie binnen de opleidingen en trainingen toe te passen. • volgen van ontwikkelingen op het gebied van GIS, drones, sensoren en andere innovatieve technologie; • ondersteunen van instructeurs en cursisten bij ICT-gerelateerde werkzaamheden tijdens opleidingen en trainingen. Een belangrijk onderdeel van je werk is het combineren van ICT met geo-informatie. Je werkt onder andere met GIS-portalen, geografische databases, dronegegevens, LiDAR, beeldmateriaal en 3D-data. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen het OTC Genie en met interne en externe partners op het gebied van ICT, GIS en geo-informatie. Waar ga je werken?
