The posting

Voor een internationaal technologiebedrijf in Hasselt, actief binnen de luchtvaartsector, zijn we op zoek naar een GL Accountant.

Je komt terecht in een innovatieve en internationale werkomgeving waar Finance een belangrijke rol speelt in de verdere groei en professionalisering van de organisatie.

In deze functie krijg je een brede verantwoordelijkheid binnen General Ledger, gecombineerd met taken binnen procurement en controlling. Je werkt nauw samen met de Finance Manager en CFO en krijgt de nodige autonomie om mee vorm te geven aan de financiële processen.

Jouw taken

Als GL Accountant neem je een gevarieerd takenpakket op binnen Finance:

  • Je staat in voor diverse General Ledger-activiteiten en ondersteunt de algemene boekhouding;
  • Je ondersteunt de maand- en jaarafsluiting en zorgt ervoor dat de boekhoudkundige gegevens tijdig en correct verwerkt zijn;
  • Je werkt mee aan interne controles en helpt de financiële processen verder te optimaliseren;
  • Je ondersteunt de controllingactiviteiten en levert de nodige financiële input en analyses;
  • Je werkt mee aan procurement-gerelateerde processen, waaronder het aanmaken en opvolgen van purchase orders (PO's);
  • Je controleert financiële gegevens en zorgt voor een correcte verwerking en opvolging;
  • Je denkt actief mee over de verbetering van processen en procedures binnen Finance;
  • Je werkt samen met verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie en zorgt voor een duidelijke communicatie rond financiële topics;
  • Je ondersteunt waar nodig bij diverse ad-hoc financiële projecten.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een relevante opleiding binnen boekhouding, finance, economie of een gelijkaardige richting;
  • Je hebt reeds relevante ervaring binnen een boekhoudkundige of financiële functie;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van algemene boekhouding en GL;
  • Ervaring met controlling en/of procurement is een sterke plus;
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en werkt nauwkeurig;
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en voelt je comfortabel in de samenwerking met verschillende stakeholders;
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar bent tegelijkertijd een echte teamplayer;
  • Je neemt initiatief en denkt graag mee over hoe processen beter en efficiënter kunnen;
  • Je bent ambitieus en hebt zin om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een internationale omgeving;
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je hebt een goede algemene kennis van MS Office en Excel.
