Bij Belgian Icecream Group, het huis van merken zoals IJsboerke, draait alles om kwaliteit, innovatie en smaak. Sinds 1935 creëren we heerlijke ijsproducten en sinds 2017 maken we deel uit van Baronie Group, met onder meer de merken Chocolade Jacques en Duc d’O.

Ben jij een ervaren accountant die graag verder kijkt dan een correcte boekhouding alleen? Krijg je energie van betrouwbare cijfers, heldere rapportering en processen die steeds beter lopen? Als GL Accountant krijg je een brede verantwoordelijkheid binnen onze finance-afdeling en lever je informatie waarop het management echt kan sturen.

Wat ga je doen als GL Accountant?

  • Je verwerkt en controleert de algemene boekhouding, reconciliaties en diverse boekingen. Zo bouw je mee aan een betrouwbare financiële basis en krijg je een grondig inzicht in onze volledige organisatie.
  • Je bewaakt en voert de betaling van leveranciersfacturen en andere financiële verrichtingen uit. Het voorbereidende werk rond de leveranciersfacturen gebeurt door je collega’s, zodat jij je kunt focussen op controle, correctheid en opvolging.
  • Je neemt een actieve rol op in de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen. Je ziet het resultaat van je werk rechtstreeks terug in tijdige en kwalitatieve cijfers.
  • Je stelt financiële en performancerapporteringen op en ondersteunt bij het maandrapport en de voorbereiding van business reviews. Zo vertaal je cijfers naar heldere inzichten voor het management.
  • Je beheert vaste activa, provisies en intercompany-afstemmingen. Hierdoor werk je nauw samen met collega’s binnen BIG en de ruimere Baronie Group.
  • Je verzorgt btw-aangiftes en andere fiscale verplichtingen. Je krijgt de ruimte om je expertise zelfstandig in te zetten en verder uit te bouwen.
  • Je werkt mee aan de opmaak van de jaarrekening en bijhorende verslagen en ondersteunt interne en externe audits. Zo ben je betrokken bij het volledige financiële jaarproces.
  • Je neemt deel aan ad-hocprojecten en werkt actief mee aan de optimalisatie van financiële processen en procedures. Goede ideeën krijgen bij ons ruimte om ook echt gerealiseerd te worden.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit, economie of een gelijkwaardige richting.
  • Je beschikt over een sterke kennis van boekhouding en fiscaliteit en hebt minstens vijf jaar relevante ervaring in een brede GL-accountingfunctie.
  • Je werkt vlot met ERP-systemen en Excel. Ervaring met SAP is een pluspunt.
  • Je analyseert cijfers scherp, werkt nauwkeurig en behoudt ook tijdens drukke afsluitperiodes het overzicht.
  • Je denkt kritisch en oplossingsgericht mee en ziet kansen om processen eenvoudiger, sneller en beter te maken.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt eigenaarschap en communiceert vlot. Tegelijk ben je een collegiale teamspeler die graag kennis deelt.
  • Je gaat discreet om met financiële informatie en handelt met integriteit, betrouwbaarheid en verantwoordelijkheidszin.
