The posting

Als GL Accountant / Financial Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor de algemene boekhouding, financiële controle en wettelijke rapportering van de Belgische entiteiten binnen een internationale groep.

Je verzekert correcte financiële rapporteringen volgens Belgian GAAP en de groepsrichtlijnen. Je werkt nauw samen met de Europese Finance Controller, de regionale Finance Director en het Shared Service Center.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als GL Accountant / Financial Controller:

  • Je beheert de grootboekactiviteiten en boekt journaalposten, accruals, allocaties en correcties.
  • Je verzorgt de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Je controleert de AP- en AR-boekingen van het Shared Service Center.
  • Je voert balansreconciliaties uit voor onder meer btw, payroll, provisies en intercompany.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de leveranciers- en klantenboekhouding.
  • Je onderzoekt boekhoudkundige verschillen en coördineert de oplossing.
  • Je beheert de intercompanyboekhouding en bijbehorende aansluitingen.
  • Je rapporteert financiële resultaten via OneStream.
  • Je stelt variantieanalyses op ten opzichte van budgetten, forecasts en voorgaande periodes.
  • Je ondersteunt budgettering en forecasting.
  • Je bereidt de Belgische jaarrekening en wettelijke rapporteringen voor.
  • Je verzorgt btw-aangiftes, intracommunautaire opgaven en Intrastat.
  • Je ondersteunt de vennootschapsbelasting in samenwerking met externe adviseurs.
  • Je stelt wekelijkse cashforecasts en liquiditeitsanalyses op.
  • Je bewaakt de interne financiële controles.
  • Je coördineert interne en externe audits.
  • Je werkt mee aan procesverbeteringen binnen Finance en het Shared Service Center.

Je beschikt over een sterke achtergrond in General Ledger Accounting of Financial Controlling.

Je hebt ervaring binnen een Shared Service Center of een gecombineerd internationaal en lokaal financemodel.

Je hebt een grondige kennis van Belgian GAAP.

Je bent vertrouwd met de Belgische btw-regelgeving en wettelijke rapporteringsverplichtingen.

Je hebt ervaring met periodieke afsluitingen en balansreconciliaties.

Je kunt financiële resultaten analyseren en afwijkingen verklaren.

Ervaring met OneStream vormt een pluspunt.

Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals SAP of Oracle is een pluspunt.

Je beheerst het Engels vloeiend.

Kennis van het Nederlands en/of Frans is sterk gewenst.

Je werkt nauwkeurig, methodisch en discreet.

Je beschikt over sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.

Je kunt meerdere prioriteiten en strikte deadlines beheren.

Je werkt proactief en neemt zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid.

Je werkt vlot samen met collega’s uit verschillende landen en culturen.

Je hebt aandacht voor integriteit, interne controle en correcte financiële rapportering.

Je denkt actief mee over procesverbetering en innovatie.
