The posting

Voor een internationale productieonderneming van 600+ medewerkers gevestigd in de regio Maldegem zijn we op zoek naar een GL Accountant om het financeteam te versterken. Dankzij de combinatie van technische innovatie, maatwerk en een sterke dienstverlening na verkoop heeft de onderneming een stevige positie opgebouwd binnen haar markt. Sinds de aansluiting bij een grotere internationale groep wordt sterk geïnvesteerd in verdere groei en professionalisering. Om deze ontwikkeling te ondersteunen, wordt het accountingteam uitgebreid met een GL Accountant met een stevige boekhoudkundige basis. Je komt terecht in een team van 5 collega's binnen accounting en controlling. Je fungeert als de rechterhand van de Teamlead Accounting en werkt nauw samen met de overige leden van het financiële management.

Het takenpakket

  • Je beheert de volledige boekhouding van A tot Z, van de dagelijkse transacties en btw-aangiftes tot de voorbereiding van de maand- en jaarafsluiting. Hierdoor behoud je een breed overzicht en ben je niet beperkt tot één onderdeel van accounting.
  • Je bewaakt de juistheid, tijdigheid en kwaliteit van de financiële administratie. Dankzij jouw nauwkeurige opvolging kan het management rekenen op betrouwbare financiële cijfers en rapporteringen.
  • Je volgt de relevante fiscale en boekhoudkundige regelgeving op en past deze correct toe binnen de verschillende vennootschappen.
  • Je ondersteunt bij de loonboekhouding en fungeert als centraal aanspreekpunt voor boekhoudkundige en financiële vragen binnen de organisatie.
  • Je werkt mee aan de optimalisatie van het ERP-systeem en de financiële processen, waardoor je rechtstreeks bijdraagt aan een efficiëntere en professionelere werking van het finance departement.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een bachelor accountancy & fiscaliteit of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen accounting.
  • Je beschikt idealiter over een aantal jaar ervaring in een brede boekhoudkundige functie.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, kan je plan trekken in het Frans.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, denkt analytisch en durft initiatief te nemen.
