The posting

Binnen een groeiende internationale groep actief in de huisdierensector krijg je als Group Controller een centrale rol in het beheren, consolideren en analyseren van de financiële cijfers. De organisatie bestaat uit meerdere entiteiten, diverse businessmodellen en verschillende landen, wat deze functie bijzonder uitdagend maakt voor een ervaren Group Controller.

  • Beheren van het boekhoudproces (AR, AP, GL) voor de Belgische en Franse entiteiten.
  • Aansturen van de maandelijkse productie van P&L, balans en cashflowstatement.
  • Presenteren van de maandcijfers per entiteit aan de P&L‑owners en actief challengen van de performantie.
  • Opzetten van een controllingmodel voor nauwgezette opvolging van kosten- en omzetstromen.
  • Beheren van het Finance IT‑applicatielandschap en de integraties.
  • Onderhouden van de rapporteringsomgeving (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Vertalen van productie-, logistieke en distributieprocessen naar financiële doelstellingen en KPI’s.
  • Uitvoeren van ad‑hocanalyses voor het management.
  • Ondersteunen van de CFO bij M&A‑projecten, inclusief structuur van juridische entiteiten, financiering en cashflow.

Deze rol biedt de kans om je expertise als Group Controller verder te verdiepen binnen een complexe en dynamische omgeving.

  • Masterdiploma in Finance.
  • 7 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring in audit, financial controlling of een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Sterke kennis van Excel, PowerPoint en Power BI.
  • Ervaring met Navision of Dynamics 365 Business Central is een plus.
  • Inzicht in productie-, logistieke en distributiemodellen is een troef.
  • Affiniteit met de consumenten- of FMCG‑sector.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Frans en/of Nederlands, aangevuld met Engels.
  • Helikopterzicht en vermogen om cijfers te verbinden met de business.
  • Pragmaticus die kiest voor werkbare oplossingen.
  • Sterke communicator die verschillende stakeholders kan meenemen in financiële inzichten.
  • Autonoom, proactief en teamgericht, met frequente en transparante communicatie naar de CFO.
  • Up‑to‑date kennis van relevante regelgeving.
