The posting

Voor een toonaangevend bedrijf, opgericht in 1800 en gespecialiseerd in de productie van bouwmaterialen, zijn wij op zoek naar een hands on ploegchef voor een professioneel team in een 2-ploegensysteem.

In de rol van meewerkend ploegchef ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken van de productieplanning, het opleiden van nieuwe medewerkers en fungeer je als aanspreekpunt voor jouw team. Je combineert administratieve taken met uitvoerende werkzaamheden en stuurt je team aan waar nodig. Na een succesvolle periode als ploegchef is er bovendien de mogelijkheid om door te groeien naar de functie van Supervisor.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische werkomgeving waar voortdurend wordt geïnvesteerd in zowel nieuwe technologieën als in de ontwikkeling van medewerkers.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de productieplanning op jouw lijn nauwkeurig wordt gevolgd.
  • Werkposten worden door jou bevoorraad en afgewerkt materiaal wordt met de heftruck afgevoerd.
  • Nieuwe medewerkers leid je op en je staat in voor vragen van medewerkers.
  • Samen met de Supervisor stel je verbeteringen voor en help je deze door te voeren.
  • Je controleert de kwaliteit, stapelwijze, etikettering en verwerkte aantallen van de producten op jouw lijn.
  • Administratieve taken zoals aanwezigheden, rendementen en voorbereiding van evaluaties vallen ook onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent aanspreekpunt voor onderhoud en het beheer van faciliteiten op jouw lijn.
  • Je hebt een technische opleiding afgerond of hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring opgedaan in een leidinggevende functie.
  • Je beschikt over een heftruckattest (of ervaring).
  • Een goede beheersing van het Nederlands is essentieel om je team effectief aan te sturen. Kennis van Engels of Pools is een pluspunt.
