The posting

Bij een cleantechorganisatie in Amsterdam ontwikkel je de elektrische systemen voor machines die CO₂ uit de omgevingslucht afvangen voor gebruik of opslag. Als Hardware Automation Engineer richt je je vooral op vermogenselektronica, componentselectie en betrouwbare machinebesturing. Je werkt aan een ESP32-gebaseerd platform en combineert elektrisch ontwerp met PLC-hardware en -software. Daarbij vertaal je producteisen naar efficiënte ontwerpen die voldoen aan elektrische veiligheidsnormen en geschikt zijn voor verdere productontwikkeling. In de dagelijkse praktijk maak je schema’s in EPLAN, voer je berekeningen en simulaties uit en help je nieuwe prototypes te debuggen en in bedrijf te stellen. Je werkt samen met interne en externe specialisten uit verschillende disciplines in een internationaal team. Ook leg je testresultaten en ontwerpkeuzes vast voor validatie en certificering. Zo verdiep je je in de samenhang tussen vermogenselektronica, besturingssoftware en de praktische werking van CO₂-afvangmachines. Functie-inhoud - Elektrische systemen ontwikkelen voor een ESP32-gebaseerd machineplatform, met nadruk op vermogenselektronica - Ontwerpberekeningen, elektrische simulaties en modellering uitvoeren voor validatie en optimalisatie - Elektrische componenten en subsystemen selecteren en beoordelen op producteisen - Elektrische schema’s, diagrammen en technische documentatie opstellen in EPLAN - PLC-software en software voor bijbehorende subsystemen ontwikkelen en onderhouden - Nieuwe prototypes debuggen en ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling - Testplannen, rapportages en technische onderbouwing voorbereiden voor certificering Functie-eisen - Afgeronde opleiding Elektrotechniek, Elektronica of een verwante technische discipline - Minimaal drie jaar aantoonbare ervaring met elektrisch ontwerp - Ervaring met vermogenselektronica en elektrische ontwerpen voor hoge vermogens - Kennis van PLC-techniek, zowel hardware als software - Kennis van elektrische veiligheids.
