The posting

Een schip nadert de Burgemeester Peterssluis. Jij houdt de omgeving in de gaten, bedient de brug en zorgt voor een veilige doorvaart. Als havenmeester zie je direct wat jouw werk oplevert: schepen varen verder en het verkeer kan weer door.

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar staat in contact met je collega's en havengebruikers. Voor schippers ben jij een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt. Je geeft duidelijke informatie en houdt via camera's en monitoren overzicht over de Theodorushaven.

Jouw werkzaamheden:

• Je bedient de brug, zodat schepen veilig en vlot door de sluis kunnen varen. • Je volgt de scheepvaart in de haven en bij de sluis via camera's en monitoren. • Je helpt havengebruikers met vragen en wisselt informatie uit over het gebruik van de haven. • Je zorgt dat weg- en vaarweggebruikers veilig kunnen passeren. • Je verwerkt de benodigde gegevens zorgvuldig in geautomatiseerde systemen.

Je werkt gemiddeld 14 uur per week. De ene week werk je meer dan de andere. Je hebt geen vast rooster en bent flexibel inzetbaar binnen deze diensttijden:

• Maandag tot en met vrijdag: 05:45–13:00 uur of 13:00–20:15 uur, met mogelijk overwerk tot uiterlijk 22:15 uur. • Zaterdag: 07:45–18:00 uur. • Zondag: 09:45–18:00 uur in de winter en 09:45–20:00 uur in de zomer.

Je start op 19 oktober 2026 en werkt tot uiterlijk 31 december 2026.

Functie-eisen: Jij voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar scheepvaart en wegverkeer samenkomen. Je houdt overzicht, blijft alert en neemt zelfstandig beslissingen die bijdragen aan de veiligheid. Schippers en collega's kunnen rekenen op jouw duidelijke communicatie in het Nederlands en Engels. Je bent flexibel in je werkdagen en uren en legt informatie zorgvuldig vast.

Verder heb je:

• Minimaal mbo-3 werk- en denkniveau. • Een Groot vaarbewijs A, modules uit de Nautische leerlijnen (Nautop 1–2) of ruime ervaring met het bedienen van sluizen en/of bruggen. • Een marifooncertificaat. • Kennis van geautomatiseerde
