Functieomschrijving: Als havenwerker ben je de hele dag in beweging. Je verplaatst goederen die per schip, trein of vrachtwagen binnenkomen. Het vastzetten van bijzondere ladingen is een cruciaal onderdeel van je dag.

Je gebruikt hiervoor kettingen, sjorbanden en houten materialen. Zo zorg je dat alles zeevast staat voor transport. Je controleert de lading altijd grondig voor vertrek. Daarnaast houd je het terrein netjes en schoon. Je voert regelmatig veiligheidscontroles uit om ongelukken te voorkomen. Je werkt samen met collega's in een hecht team. Iedereen volgt de instructies voor kwaliteit en veiligheid nauwkeurig op. Zo verloopt het laden en lossen altijd soepel en veilig.
