Als Head Chef neem je een centrale rol op binnen de keuken en combineer je operationele verantwoordelijkheid met het aansturen en ontwikkelen van het team.

  • aansturen van de dagelijkse werking van de keuken
  • bewaken van de kwaliteit en continuïteit
  • instaan voor uurroosters, planning en een efficiënte personeelsbezetting
  • coachen en motiveren van het keukenteam en stimuleren verdere ontwikkeling
  • je zorgt voor een duidelijke structuur, organisatie en vlotte communicatie binnen de keuken
  • bewaken van de culinaire standaarden en vertalen van de visie naar een consistente dagelijkse werking
  • je grijpt snel en doordacht in bij operationele uitdagingen en onverwachte situaties
  • je werkt nauw samen met de culinaire en operationele verantwoordelijken
  • identificeren van verbeterpunten en meedenken over processen en de verdere professionalisering van de keuken
  • je leidt medewerkers op en draagt de kennis en werkwijze binnen de keuken actief over
  • je bouwt mee aan een stabiele en toekomstgerichte keukenorganisatie op lange termijn

We zoeken een ervaren, mature en ambitieuze Head Chef die sterk is in zowel het culinaire als het organisatorische luik en graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt binnen een grote, professionele keuken.

  • ruime ervaring als Chef binnen kwalitatieve en professionele keukenomgevingen
  • bewezen ervaring in het aansturen en coachen van een groter keukenteam
  • een sterke people manager die mensen weet te motiveren, begeleiden en ontwikkelen
  • organisatorisch sterk en behoudt ook op drukke momenten het overzicht
  • hands-on en begrijpt wat er operationeel nodig is om een keuken vlot te laten draaien
  • combineert culinaire bagage met een goed gevoel voor planning, structuur en efficiëntie
  • staat open voor feedback en weet bestaande structuren en afspraken te respecteren
  • je bent creatief en denkt graag mee, maar vertrekt vanuit samenwerking en niet vanuit ego
  • communicatief sterk en werkt vlot samen met verschillende stakeholders
  • hebt een langetermijnvisie en zoekt een omgeving waarin je je voor langere tijd kan engageren
  • je bent nieuwsgierig en neemt eerst de tijd om een organisatie en team te begrijpen voor je veranderingen doorvoert
