We are currently looking for an Overhead Line Engineer to join our team in Arnhem. In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company's core values: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation, teamwork and collaboration. YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED? We are looking for a professional to work within our Power and Energy department. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering and design of overhead lines and interface structures that connect with substations. You will: - Contribute to some of the most important infrastructure projects supporting the energy transition, helping grid operators expand and strengthen the electricity network to meet future demand, and supporting contractor clients in the delivery and commissioning of new infrastructure projects. - Contribute to the design of high-voltage transmission lines and substation interfaces. - Perform structural analyses and calculations for steel lattice towers, foundations, line loadings and conductor sizing. - Work with industry-leading software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER and RFEM. - Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and documentation. - Collaborate with senior engineers and take responsibility for defined work packages within multidisciplinary projects. - Support project planning, construction and installation phases. - Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge.
