Combineer jij een ijzersterke boekhoudkundige expertise met de ambitie om een team te sturen en te laten groeien? Wil je als financieel klankbord fungeren voor de directie, terwijl je op de werkvloer garant staat voor een accurate en gestroomlijnde administratie?

Onze opdrachtgever vervult een essentiële rol binnen de mobiliteits- en logistieke sector. Je stapt binnen in een professioneel georganiseerde omgeving waar betrouwbaarheid, collegialiteit en een hoog kwaliteitsniveau de toon aangeven. Binnen het financiële departement heerst een professionele, maar toegankelijke werksfeer met korte overleglijnen.

Als Head of Accounting neem jij de leiding over de boekhoudkundige organisatie en het team. Je waarborgt de tijdigheid en correctheid van de periodieke afsluitingen, stelt de kwalitatieve rapportages op en stroomlijnt de financiële processen. Tegelijk ben je de inhoudelijke mentor voor jouw medewerkers, die je motiveert en vaktechnisch ondersteunt. Een veelzijdige leidinggevende positie waarin een strakke financiële controle en actieve coaching naadloos samenkomen!

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Head of Accounting:

  • Je zorgt voor een evenwichtige taakverdeling over jouw team dat bestaat uit zes leden.
  • Je duikt zelf met veel voldoening in je eigen dossierpakket voor ingewikkelde boekingen, periodieke aansluitingen en BTW-aangiftes.
  • Je stelt maandelijks de managementrapportering op voor de CFO en verklaart proactief eventuele budgettaire afwijkingen.
  • Je levert een actieve bijdrage aan de opmaak van de jaarrekening en de voorbereiding van de jaarlijkse audit.
  • Je waarborgt de continuïteit van de afdeling door bij afwezigheid moeiteloos dossiers van je collega's over te nemen.
