Voor een snelgroeiende organisatie met internationale ambities zijn we op zoek naar een Head of Accounting die niet alleen de boekhouding beheert, maar vooral structuur bouwt voor verdere groei. Je komt terecht in een ondernemende scale-upomgeving waar vandaag nog heel wat processen verder geprofessionaliseerd kunnen worden. In deze sleutelrol zorg je voor betrouwbare cijfers, sterke closingprocessen en een schaalbare financiële structuur over meerdere entiteiten heen. Je rapporteert aan de Head of Finance en werkt nauw samen met het management.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je neemt ownership over de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Je bouwt een efficiënt fast close-proces uit en verhoogt de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van de financiële rapportering.
  • Je zet een duidelijke closingkalender, interne controles en accounting policies op.
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande financiële workflows en automatiseert processen waar mogelijk.
  • Je neemt ownership over Accounts Receivable en brengt structuur in openstaande vorderingen.
  • Je bouwt cashflow- en treasuryprocessen verder uit.
  • Je bewaakt AP- en AR-processen en werkt samen met externe partners waar nodig.
  • Je volgt btw, vennootschapsbelasting en andere complianceverplichtingen op.
  • Je bent aanspreekpunt voor auditors en fiscale instanties.
  • Je bereidt de financiële organisatie voor op consolidatie, een holdingstructuur en internationale groei.
  • Je harmoniseert processen over verschillende entiteiten en systemen heen.
  • Je denkt actief mee over ERP, automatisering en verdere professionalisering van Finance.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt ongeveer 7 tot 10 jaar ervaring binnen accounting.
  • Ervaring binnen een multi-company context is een sterke troef.
  • Ervaring binnen een groeiomgeving, scale-up of sterk veranderende organisatie is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en werkt bijzonder gestructureerd.
  • Je krijgt energie van het bouwen en verbeteren van processen.
  • Je combineert een hands-on mentaliteit met strategisch inzicht.
  • Je neemt vanzelfsprekend ownership en durft bestaande werkwijzen kritisch in vraag te stellen.
  • Je blijft rustig en behoudt overzicht in een omgeving waar veel tegelijk beweegt.
  • Je denkt in systemen en schaalbare oplossingen, niet alleen in spreadsheets.
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals Exact, Odoo of gelijkaardige oplossingen.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en professioneel Engels.
