Die Scantox Neuro GmbH ist ein international erfolgreiches Auftragsforschungsunternehmen im präklinischen Bereich. In unserer Abteilung Neuropharmacology betreuen wir seit vielen Jahren erfolgreich präklinische Studien mit Schwerpunkt Neurodegeneration und leisten damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Entwicklung neuer Therapieansätze.

Für die Leitung unserer Animal Facility suchen wir eine engagierte, verantwortungsbewusste Führungspersönlichkeit. 1 Head of Animal Facility (m/w/d)

Unbefristete Vollzeitstelle mit Start als Karenzvertretung

Standort Grambach bei Graz

Wichtiger Hinweis zur Position:

Die Funktion wird zunächst im Rahmen einer Karenzvertretung übernommen. Die Anstellung erfolgt jedoch von Beginn an unbefristet und bietet eine langfristige Perspektive innerhalb unseres Unternehmens.

Ihr Hauptaufgabenbereich:

* Fachliche und organisatorische Leitung der Animal Facility

* Sicherstellung des reibungslosen Betriebs unter Einhaltung aller gesetzlichen und internen Vorgaben

* Führung, Entwicklung und Motivation des Teams

* Mitwirkung an der Weiterentwicklung der Animal Facility und ihrer Prozesse

* Verantwortung für Tierwohl, Hygiene- und Qualitätsstandards

* Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachbereichen, Wissenschaftler: innen und externen Partner: innen

* Planung und Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen und Ressourcen

* Unterstützung bei Audits, Inspektionen und behördlichen Verfahren

Ihr Profil:

* Abgeschlossenes Studium der Veterinärmedizin, Biologie oder einer vergleichbaren naturwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung

* Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Versuchstierkunde, Labortierhaltung oder einem vergleichbaren Umfeld

* Kommunikationsstärke und Teamorientierung

* Erfahrung in der Führung von Mitarbeiter: innen von Vorteil

* Fundierte Kenntnisse der relevanten gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen im Bereich Tierhaltung und Tierversuchswesen

* Ausgeprägte organisatorische Fähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

* Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Qualitätsverständnis

* Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Bei der Festlegung des konkreten Gehalts berücksichtigen wir Ihre fachlichen und persönlichen Fähigkeiten sowie Ihre einschlägige Berufserfahrung.
