Ik vertel je graag meer over de functie, het team en onze locatie in Barneveld. Functieomschrijving Bij DS Smith maken we duurzame verpakkingsoplossingen die er écht toe doen. Oplossingen die de wereld een stukje beter maken op het gebied van kwaliteit én duurzaamheid. Met onze missie “Redefining Packaging for a Changing World” en onze strategie “Now and Next” lopen we voorop richting een circulaire economie. Van tomaten tot mountainbikes en pakketten van je favoriete webshop: grote kans dat het karton bij ons vandaan komt. Als Heftruckheld ben jij onmisbaar op de expeditie. Jij laadt vrachtwagens volgens de binnengekomen orders en doet dat natuurlijk veilig en met oog voor kwaliteit. Dankzij jou gaan de juiste goederen op tijd de deur uit richting onze klanten. Daarnaast ben jij dé spil op de expeditie in de dagdienst en tijdens drukke vakantieperiodes werk je mee in een 2-ploegendienst. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de palletflow soepel blijft lopen. Op deze DS Smith-locatie werken we voornamelijk in dagdienst, maar bij drukte schakelen we over naar 2-ploegen. Lekker afwisselend dus! Hieronder de highlights van jouw taken: Controleren van partijen op aantallen en eventuele palletschade Hoeveelheden aanpassen in het systeem en actie ondernemen waar nodig Klein onderhoud aan de heftruck en zorgen voor een nette werkplek Goederen klaarzetten en laden voor verzending naar onze klanten
