Met jouw technische expertise draag je direct bij aan de inzetbaarheid van de helikoptervloot en ondersteun je de operationele taken van Defensie. Je voert zelfstandig onderhouds-, herstel- en inspectiewerkzaamheden uit aan de elektronische systemen van helikopters. Je analyseert en verhelpt storingen aan onder andere avionica, communicatie-, navigatie-, sensor- en elektrische systemen. Met behulp van technische documentatie, testapparatuur en gespecialiseerde gereedschappen achterhaal je de oorzaak van technische problemen en voer je de benodigde werkzaamheden uit volgens de geldende voorschriften. Je controleert de werking en staat van elektronische componenten en systemen en vervangt onderdelen wanneer deze niet meer aan de gestelde eisen voldoen.
