Iemand die weet hoe een cliënt zijn koffie graag drinkt, welke dingen iemand nog zelf kan en wanneer het fijn is om even samen op pad te gaan. Dat is de kracht van Volledig Pakket Thuis (VPT) bij De Zellingen. Als Helpende (Plus) binnen VPT draag je eraan bij dat ouderen zo lang mogelijk prettig en verantwoord thuis kunnen blijven wonen. Je hebt meer tijd voor cliënten, werkt veelal met een vaste groep mensen en bouwt daardoor aan een langdurige relatie. Je biedt ondersteuning en begeleiding bij de dagelijkse zorg, maar hebt ook aandacht voor welzijn, zelfstandigheid en de dingen die iemands dag waardevol maken. Je maakt het verschil in het dagelijks leven Binnen VPT ligt de focus op ondersteunen en begeleiden bij wat nodig is . We kijken niet alleen naar wat iemand nodig heeft, maar ook naar wat iemand zelf kan en wil blijven doen. Misschien ondersteun je bij de persoonlijke verzorging en stimuleer je iemand om een deel daarvan zelf te doen. Misschien help je bij het ontbijt, breng je structuur aan in de dag of ga je samen even wandelen. Soms is één-op-één begeleiding nodig of merk je dat een cliënt anders reageert dan normaal. Omdat je cliënten goed leert kennen, zie je dit soort veranderingen. Je weet wat bij iemand past en kunt steeds beter aansluiten bij wat iemand nodig heeft. VPT geeft je meer tijd bij cliënten dan reguliere thuiszorg. Je werkt veelal met dezelfde cliënten en ziet hen regelmatig. Dat zorgt voor herkenning en vertrouwen. Voor de cliënt betekent dit rust en structuur: bekende gezichten, een herkenbaar ritme en ondersteuning die aansluit bij wat belangrijk voor hen is. Voor jou betekent het dat je een relatie kunt opbouwen en daadwerkelijk ziet wat jouw inzet op de langere termijn oplevert.
