Je bent een vertrouwd gezicht voor bewoners die je bij naam kent en die op jou kunnen rekenen. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het dagelijks leven van deze bewoners met dementie. Hier heb je écht tijd voor persoonlijke aandacht en maak je iedere dag het verschil. Je werkt niet op een afdeling, maar in een huis waar samen eten, koffie drinken en kleine momenten van aandacht net zo belangrijk zijn als de zorg. Voel jij je thuis in een warme, huiselijke omgeving? Je zorgt zelfstandig voor 6 bewoners. Bij al jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden staat voorop dat je de wensen van de bewoners zoveel mogelijk respecteert. Op een manier dat zij zich vertrouwd en thuis voelen. Je biedt een luisterend oor en stemt de zorg zoveel mogelijk hierop af. Daarnaast heb je veel ruimte voor het welzijn van de bewoners. Dit is een deel van jouw taken: - Je begeleidt en ondersteunt bewoners met de persoonlijke hygiëne (algemene dagelijkse levensverrichtingen/ADL). Zoals: wassen, douchen en aan- en uitkleden, toiletbezoek en eten en drinken; - Je stimuleert zelfredzaamheid zodat zij hun eigen ritme zoveel mogelijk kunnen behouden; - Je onderhoudt contact met familie, naasten en mantelzorgers; - Huishoudelijke taken zoals het opmaken van bedden, opruimen en stofzuigen; - Afhankelijk van jouw diploma reik je ook medicatie aan en zijn er verpleegtechnische handelingen zoals het aantrekken van steunkousen, wondverzorging of het meten van bloedsuiker.
