Op de PG+ afdeling in locatie Vreeswijk in Nieuwegein bied je cliënten de extra begeleiding, structuur en nabijheid die zij nodig hebben. Je leert hen goed kennen, kijkt verder dan het gedrag dat je ziet en draagt iedere dag bij aan een veilige en vertrouwde omgeving. Jouw uitdaging Op de PG+ afdeling wonen cliënten met dementie die meer ondersteuning nodig hebben dan binnen de reguliere psychogeriatrische zorg mogelijk is. Zij kunnen bijvoorbeeld veel onrust, angst, achterdocht, ontremming of weerstand tegen zorg ervaren. Als Helpende Plus bied je persoonlijke verzorging en begeleiding die aansluit bij wat iemand op dat moment nodig heeft. Je helpt cliënten bij de dagelijkse zorg, voert passende verpleegtechnische handelingen uit en houdt veranderingen in hun gezondheid en gedrag goed in de gaten. Daarbij werk je met herkenbare routines en bied je rust, duidelijkheid en nabijheid. Je staat er niet alleen voor. Samen met verzorgenden, verpleegkundigen, behandelaren en naasten onderzoek je wat achter het gedrag kan liggen en welke benadering het beste werkt. Juist doordat je cliënten goed leert kennen, kun je ook kleine signalen herkennen en verschil maken in hun dagelijks leven. Wie ben jij? - Je hebt een mbo 2 diploma Helpende, aangevuld met de plusmodule. - Je hebt affiniteit met cliënten met dementie en complexe zorgvragen. - Ervaring binnen de psychogeriatrie is een grote pré. - Je bent rustig, oplettend en kunt duidelijkheid en structuur bieden. - Je kijkt met een open en nieuwsgierige blik naar gedrag. - Je werkt graag samen en durft hulp of advies te vragen wanneer dat nodig is. - Je wilt jezelf verder ontwikkelen binnen ...
