Wat jouw werk als Helpende (plus) zo bijzonder maakt Op een PG-afdeling is geen dag hetzelfde, maar één ding staat vast: jij maakt het verschil met jouw aanwezigheid.

Wanneer je 's ochtends de huiskamer binnenloopt, voel je meteen de sfeer op de afdeling. Een bewoner is zoekende, trekt aan zijn jas en wil ‘naar huis’. Waar een ander misschien voorbij zou lopen, stop jij. Jij kent zijn verhaal. Je pakt rustig een kop koffie, gaat naast hem zitten en vraagt naar de boerderij van vroeger. Na een paar minuten ontspant zijn houding, zucht hij een keer diep en is er rust om samen aan de dag te beginnen. Dat is waar jij het voor doet.

Je werk ziet er zo uit: - Je helpt bewoners bij het wassen, aankleden, de maaltijden en het creëren van een fijne dagstructuur. - Gedraagt iemand zich anders of is er onrust? Jij merkt dit meteen op, zoekt naar een benadering die werkt en deelt dit met je team. - Je kijkt naar wat bewoners zelf nog kunnen en geeft ze de tijd en het vertrouwen om dat te doen. - Heb je jouw Plus-certificaat? Dan reik je op de juiste momenten de medicatie uit. - Je schrijft kort en helder op hoe het met de bewoners gaat, zodat je collega’s in de volgende dienst precies weten waar ze op moeten letten.
