Onze klant is een gevestigde waarde en een grote internationale speler binnen de drankensector, gelegen in de regio Bree. Ze produceren en verpakken dagelijks enorme volumes voor bekende supermarktketens en eigen merken wereldwijd. Vanwege hun sterke internationale export zijn ze op zoek naar een gedreven collega om hun logistieke stroom vlekkeloos te laten verlopen.

In deze rol als Hoofd Douane - Transport ben je voor zo'n 70% van je tijd zelf actief bezig met exportdocumenten, douane- en accijnsformaliteiten en internationaal containervervoer. Daarnaast stuur je op een no-nonsense manier een compact team van 3 transportplanners aan. Je bent de meewerkende spil die zorgt dat zendingen op tijd vertrekken en dat alle wetgeving tot in de puntjes klopt.

Functieomschrijving

  • Zelfstandig afhandelen en nauwkeurig opvolgen van export- en douanedocumenten.
  • Correct beheren van de accijnswetgeving, de bijbehorende administratie en het begeleiden van audits.
  • Organiseren en opvolgen van internationaal containervervoer en wegtransport.
  • Dagelijks aansturen, coachen en ondersteunen van een team van 3 transportplanners.
  • Onderhouden van vlotte contacten met de douane, expediteurs en externe logistieke partners.
  • Bewaken van de transportkosten en het doen van verbetervoorstellen voor de logistieke processen.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over minstens 5 jaar ervaring binnen expeditie, export en internationale logistiek.
  • Je hebt grondige kennis van douaneprocedures, exportdocumentatie en accijnzen.
  • Je hebt sterke ervaring met internationaal containervervoer.
  • Werkt graag operationeel mee en weet een klein team op een natuurlijke manier te motiveren.
