Deze internationale logistieke groep, actief in de regio Zeebrugge, is een toonaangevende speler in maritieme en multimodale transportoplossingen door heel Europa. Met een eigen scheepsvloot, uitbreidbare terminals en een robuust transportnetwerk garandeert de organisatie betrouwbaar transport met een lage CO2-voetafdruk. Binnen deze dynamische omgeving staan betrouwbaarheid, duurzaamheid en een pragmatische resultaatgerichtheid centraal. Wat deze onderneming vooral typeert, is haar aandacht voor efficiënte processen, stabiliteit en milieubewuste productie.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je bepaalt de strategische koers voor transportplanning en procurement en geeft direct leiding aan 3 planningsteams (ca. 50 medewerkers) verspreid over meerdere Europese vestigingen.
  • Je leidt het volledige procurementproces van leveranciersselectie en SLA-beheer tot de onderhandeling van strategische vracht- en capaciteitscontracten.
  • Je bewaakt de kostenefficiëntie, marges en leverbetrouwbaarheid op basis van data en stuurt de end-to-end transportoperatie bij in nauw overleg met de COO.
  • Je reist periodiek naar internationale vestigingen (zoals de UK en Rotterdam) en stuurt digitaliserings- en procesverbeteringstrajecten aan binnen softwareomgevingen zoals Qargo en MS 365.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor of Masterdiploma of kan terugblikken op minstens 10 jaar ervaring binnen een leidinggevende functie in transport, logistiek of de maritieme sector.
  • Je combineert diepgaande vakkennis van capaciteitsplanning en S&OP met bewezen onderhandelingsvaardigheden en een sterk commercieel en financieel inzicht.
  • Je bent een coachende, besluitvaardige leider die grote teams weet te motiveren en complexe operationele vraagstukken omzet in duidelijke prioriteiten.
  • Je bent bereid tot internationaal reizen en communiceert overtuigend en vloeiend in het Nederlands en het Engels.
