Jij begrijpt de dagelijkse dynamiek van een complexe industriële site en weet dat veiligheid en gezondheid geen randvoorwaarden zijn, maar de basis voor een sterke, betrouwbare en toekomstbestendige operatie. Samen met je collega's bouw je aan een werkomgeving waarin onze circa 500 medewerkers en vele contractors iedere dag veilig en gezond naar huis kunnen gaan. In deze leidinggevende rol combineer je zichtbare betrokkenheid bij operationele veiligheids- en gezondheidsvraagstukken met het ontwikkelen en realiseren van het strategische meerjarenplan voor veiligheid en arbeidshygiëne. Ben jij een ervaren veiligheidskundige en/of arbeidshygiënist die energie krijgt van strategisch denken, zichtbaar leiderschap en het in beweging brengen van mensen? Dan is dit misschien jouw volgende stap: Hoofd Veiligheid Hoe ziet jouw werkdag bij Nyrstar eruit? Je geeft leiding aan de afdeling Veiligheid, waar ook Arbeidshygiëne onder valt. Je zorgt ervoor dat eisen vanuit inspecties, wet- en regelgeving en strategische bedrijfsplannen op een praktische, gestructureerde en aantoonbare manier worden vertaald naar de dagelijkse praktijk. De afdeling Veiligheid maakt onderdeel uit van CHESS (Community, Health & Safety, Environment, Security & Sustainable Development), een multidisciplinair team van circa 20 medewerkers. Door het internationale karakter van Nyrstar reikt jouw rol verder dan de site in Budel.
