Hoofdboekhouder (m/v/x), regio Antwerpse haven.

Voor onze klant, een internationaal actieve logistieke organisatie met een sterke verankering in de Antwerpse havenregio, zijn wij op zoek naar een Hoofdboekhouder. De organisatie combineert operationele expertise, technologie en engineering en is actief in meerdere continenten. Binnen één van haar kernactiviteiten - haven- en logistieke operaties - wordt gewerkt in een complexe en dynamische omgeving met meerdere entiteiten.

De bedrijfscultuur wordt gekenmerkt door langetermijndenken, stabiliteit en een sterke focus op mensen en vakmanschap. Om de verdere groei en professionalisering van Finance te ondersteunen, wordt het team versterkt met een ervaren Hoofdboekhouder.

De functie

Als Hoofdboekhouder neem je een sleutelpositie in binnen de organisatie. Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de boekhouding en financiële rapportering en fungeert als betrouwbare sparringpartner voor het management. Je combineert nauwkeurigheid met analytisch inzicht en zorgt voor een correcte, transparante en tijdige financiële opvolging.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat o.a. uit:

  • Eindverantwoordelijkheid over de volledige A‑Z boekhouding van één of meerdere entiteiten;
  • Bewaken van de correcte verwerking van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen;
  • Opmaak van jaarrekeningen en fiscale aangiften;
  • Coördinatie en begeleiding van interne en externe audits;
  • Verantwoordelijkheid voor een correcte btw‑verwerking en naleving van boekhoudkundige en fiscale regelgeving;
  • Analyse van financiële resultaten en vertaling naar heldere rapporteringen en adviezen voor het management;
  • Optimalisatie van financiële processen en interne controles;
  • Fungeren als coachend en inhoudelijk aanspreekpunt binnen Finance (facturatie en opvolging van openstaande vorderingen worden door andere collega's opgenomen);
  • Nauwe samenwerking met interne stakeholders en externe partners zoals auditors, accountants en fiscale adviseurs.

Het profiel

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in accountancy, fiscaliteit of een gelijkwaardige financiële richting;
  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een verantwoordelijke boekhoudkundige functie;
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van Belgische boekhoud- en fiscale wetgeving;
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP‑systemen;
  • Je beschikt over een uitstekende kennis van Excel;
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, nauwkeurig en neemt van nature verantwoordelijkheid;
  • Je combineert analytisch denkvermogen met een hands‑on mentaliteit;
  • Je communiceert vlot en professioneel en kan complexe cijfers helder toelichten.
