Ben jij een ervaren kelner die graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt en zelfstandig werkt? Zoek je een job waarin je niet alleen bedient, maar ook mee het verschil maakt in de dagelijkse werking van een horecazaak? Dan ben jij misschien de persoon die we zoeken.

Voor Café Hoptimist in Bree zijn we op zoek naar een hoofdkelner / kelnerverantwoordelijke die het team mee aanstuurt en als aanspreekpunt fungeert voor zowel gasten als collega's.

Over Café Hoptimist

Gelegen op het gezellige Stift, midden in de uitgaansbuurt van Bree, is Café Hoptimist veel meer dan een gewoon café. Met maar liefst 104 speciaalbieren, een ruim aanbod cocktails en een uitgebreide hapjeskaart ontvangen we een divers publiek dat komt genieten van kwaliteit, gezelligheid en sfeer.

Daarnaast organiseren we regelmatig evenementen zoals themafeestjes, optredens, comedy-avonden, quizzen en andere activiteiten die zorgen voor een levendige en afwisselende werkomgeving.

Jouw rol

Als hoofdkelner krijg je het vertrouwen en de vrijheid om mee de dagelijkse werking van het café in goede banen te leiden. Je bent een echte spilfiguur op de werkvloer en neemt initiatief waar nodig.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Het vriendelijk ontvangen en bedienen van gasten
  • Het correct opnemen van bestellingen en afrekenen
  • Het enthousiast serveren van dranken en hapjes
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt tijdens de service
  • Het openen en/of sluiten van het café
  • Het aansturen, ondersteunen en motiveren van collega's
  • Het opvolgen en controleren van voorraden
  • Het aanvullen van stock en signaleren van tekorten
  • Het bewaken van kwaliteit, orde en gastvrijheid
  • Het onderhouden van een nette en professionele werkplek

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt ervaring als kelner en voelt je comfortabel in een verantwoordelijke rol. Ervaring als hoofdkelner is een pluspunt, maar vooral jouw maturiteit, zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheidszin maken het verschil.
