Wil jij een team van maatschappelijk werkers inspireren, coachen en ondersteunen zodat inwoners de hulp krijgen die ze nodig hebben? Dan ben jij misschien de Hoofdmaatschappelijk Werker die we zoeken. In deze leidinggevende functie combineer je mensgericht leiderschap met inhoudelijke expertise. Je zorgt voor een vlotte dagelijkse werking van de sociale dienst, bewaakt de kwaliteit van de dienstverlening en ondersteunt je collega's bij complexe sociale dossiers. Samen met het diensthoofd werk je mee aan de verdere uitbouw van een professionele, klantgerichte en toekomstgerichte sociale dienst. Je bent de verbindende schakel tussen medewerkers, beleid en externe partners en draagt actief bij aan een dienstverlening die elke inwoner een menswaardig bestaan helpt garanderen.

Jouw uitdagingen

  • Je coördineert de dagelijkse werking van het team maatschappelijk werkers.
  • Je coacht, motiveert en ondersteunt medewerkers in hun professionele groei.
  • Je bent het inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt voor complexe sociale dossiers en moeilijke cliëntsituaties.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en uniformiteit van de sociale dienstverlening en werkt mee aan de optimalisatie van processen en procedures.
  • Je ondersteunt het diensthoofd bij beleidsvoorbereiding, projecten, budgetopvolging en rapportering.
  • Je volgt sociale dossiers en dossiers voor het Bijzonder Comité voor de Sociale Dienst (BCSD) mee op.
  • Je bouwt bruggen met interne en externe partners en vertegenwoordigt de organisatie waar nodig.
  • Je stimuleert een open communicatie en een positieve samenwerking binnen het team.

Je bent een enthousiaste leidinggevende die mensen weet te verbinden en te motiveren. Je combineert een sterke sociale betrokkenheid met organisatorisch talent en een oplossingsgerichte aanpak.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • een grondige kennis van de sociale wetgeving en maatschappelijke dienstverlening;
  • ervaring met het begeleiden en coachen van medewerkers;
  • sterke organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden;
  • een analytische blik en het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen;
  • een klantgerichte, integere en empathische houding;
  • het talent om zowel operationeel als beleidsmatig mee te denken;
  • een sterke interesse in kwaliteitsverbetering en procesoptimalisatie.
  • minstens 3 jaar ervaring bij een Sociale Dienst op minimaal B1-B3-niveau of via een werkgever waarbij er een nauwe samenwerking is met een OCMW.
  • minstens een bachelordiploma Maatschappelijk Werk of gelijkgesteld (voor meer info kan je volgende website raadplegen)
